The season has begun! Congratulations on the Time Trial this week, I'm sure you could see all of the hard work from this summer starting to pay off. Keep working hard and you will continue to see those improvements!

Here are some Driving directions (from Google) for the Invitational on Saturday if any parent is interested in going.

Driving directions to Settlement Canyon
45.7 mi – about 53 mins

Start:7350 S 900 E Midvale, UT 84047
1. Head north on S 900 E toward E S Union Ave (1.0 mi)
2. Turn right at E 6600 S (0.2 mi)
3. Turn right at Union Park Ave (194 ft)
4. Slight right to merge onto I-215 W (12.4 mi)
5. Take exit 22 to merge onto I-80 W toward Reno (18.7 mi)
6. Take exit 99 to merge onto UT-36 toward Tooele/Stansbury (13.3 mi)

For more detailed driving directions once you arrive in Tooele:
If coming from the north (which we will be):
From Tooele City Main Street, head south out of town past the "Go-Fer" Food Store. 1/2 mile further, turn left on Settlement Canyon Road. Head east up the road to the guard shack and head up the canyon. You will see all the buses and cars for the meet. Please call coach Olsen with additional questions.

Desert News 10K

We had a great showing at the 10K yesterday. The team did very well! The pictures will be posted shortly. Here is the link to check your official time. Also, make sure you read over our new schedule for our HARC next week. Hopefully everybody can make it to our camp. If you have any questions please contact Coach Olsen. Great job yesterday!

Race Day info

Hey Team! Just some quick information. For those of you running the 10k on Thursday, we will be meeting in the Northeast Parking lot of the Marriott University Park Hotel at 5:30 A.M. We'll then run up to Research Park on Chipeta Way. Here is a map of the area:

Week 3

We've had yet another great week. Don't forget to email your summer mileage to Coach Olsen!! The boys ran 207.5 miles, and we have yet to receive mileage for week 3 from the girls. Just a reminder, don't forget to sign up for the Sandy City 5K on Friday, July 4th. The race starts at 7:00 A.M. and we will be meeting behind the Target (on the northwest corner-where the dead grass is at). Also, if you run any other race this summer (independently from the team), let us know the race and your results! Keep up the good work!!

Week 2

Another great week! Keep running, you are doing great! Don't forget to email Coach Olsen with your mileage report for Week 2 if you haven't already done so. So far, the boys ran 204.5 miles for week 2 and the girls ran 46 miles. Let's keep it up the good work!
